Privacy Policy
This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and take reasonable measures to protect it. Any personal information you share with us is used only to respond to your enquiry or deliver your project — we do not sell or redistribute it to third parties.
Terms & Conditions
- Contract. A client's approval for work to commence — by email confirmation of a quote, or a signed quote document — forms a contractual agreement between the client and Sai Web Technology. Approval and payment of the advance fee indicates acceptance of these terms.
- Material. All material supplied by the client remains the client's property and is assumed to be free of copyright issues.
- Domain names. Domains registered by Sai WebTech on a client's behalf remain Sai WebTech's property until the client has paid the associated fees, after which they are transferred on request.
- Registration charges. Third-party costs (domain registration, third-party utilities) are payable by the client before a formal registration is made, and are included in the standard invoice.
- Copyright. Sai Web Technology retains copyright on design, artwork and source code until final payment is received, after which copyright may transfer if previously agreed.
- Photography & graphics. Stock imagery is not generally included in a quote unless approved separately. Reworking client-supplied assets is included within reason; extensive rework may be charged at standard hourly rates.
- Accessibility. Responsibility for accessibility compliance rests with the client unless a separate scope is agreed.
- Browser compatibility. We design for current, actively supported browsers at the time of the project; we cannot guarantee display in browser versions released after delivery.
- Search engine promotion. Ongoing SEO/promotion is a separate, contracted service — we cannot guarantee outcomes controlled by third-party search engines.
- Cancellation. Clients who cancel mid-project remain liable for work completed to that point.
- Site maintenance. Ongoing maintenance is not included by default and is agreed as a separate contract if required.
- Content. Sai Web Technology is not liable for content supplied by the client; such content remains the client's copyright and responsibility.
- Portfolio use. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio.
- Travel & expenses. Travel time/expenses for in-person meetings are not included in standard estimates unless agreed.
- Quotations. A quote covers the agreed scope only; changes are quoted separately and may affect the project timeline.
- Upfront payment. A non-refundable advance (typically 40% of project cost) is required before work commences.
- Payment terms. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed. Published pages may be withdrawn if payment is overdue.
- Hosting. Any third-party hosting or ISP services require a separate contract directly with that provider.
- Free technical support. We provide 12 months of free technical support for bugs/errors in our own code, from the date of delivery or go-live, whichever is earlier.
- Client delays. Extended delays (15+ working days) in client feedback or required materials may affect timelines and, in some cases, forfeit advance payments made.
- Licensing. Unless otherwise agreed, delivered code is licensed for a single domain, with no recurring renewal fee.
- Ownership. Unless otherwise agreed, Sai Web Technology retains ownership of source code and reserves the right to reuse it in other projects.
Liability
In no event shall Sai Web Technology be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the operation of, or inability to operate, these web pages or associated services. Waiving any individual term does not waive the remaining terms, and your statutory rights are not affected.
We may update these terms from time to time; agreements signed prior to an update remain governed by the terms in force at the time they were signed. For clarification on any of the above, please contact us.
